Nothing new to report here, unfortunately. On display were the same old Nerf Mega blasters we’ve already discussed and the same old mouthwatering Nerf Mega RotoFury we’re all salivating for on a constant basis. But that’s okay, I don’t mind going over the details of the RotoFury again! But first:
Nerf MEGA Blasters 2015.
Nerf Mega BigShock Blaster.
This super steroid Nerf Jolt is still a chunky little blaster. It’s apparently also still shipping to the US with the gray trigger. That inexplicable gray trigger signifies that it’s a watered down weaker version that is usually sold in countries with strict regulations on toy blaster power and range. I was waiting for some kind of explanation to resolve this issue, but I am left with my questions unanswered. Still love the look and idea behind the Nerf Mega BigShock, but I’m still waiting for one with a confirmed orange trigger. Thanks.
Nerf Mega CycloneShock.
The Mega version of the Nerf Strongarm is still as impressive as ever. As the first Nerf Mega blaster to feature Slam-Fire, it’s obviously still the reigning Mega champ. You can check out my review of the Cyclone here: Nerf Mega CycloneShock Review. It’s shoots far, fast, and furiously and I can’t praise this blaster enough. I don’t know how they will top this in the future, because honestly, they probably won’t. This will be the main Mega sidearm for years to come. Grab it on Amazon now! Be quick because this blaster often sells out online.
Nerf Mega RotoFury.
Behold! The Nerf MEGA RotoFury! Still a beastly blaster if ever I’ve seen one. Now that people were able to put hands on the RotoFury, I can confirm that it handles as good as it looks. It shoots out Mega darts as fast as you can slide the pump action handle, and it doesn’t eat darts for dinner like the Centurion. This is definitely a blaster to look out for this year. I’ve heard a criticism about the drum magazine being in the way during particularly fast Slam-Fire sessions, but I’m sure it will not be an issue. This is our Nerf Mega version of the Rampage, for sure. I am very excited about this one.
Nerf MEGA Revelations.:
Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed. I know I shouldn’t be, but I couldn’t help but to yearn for more. I am starting to become quite the fan of the Mega line of blasters and with the RotoFury coming out soon, I feel like they need a Mega Retaliator or something like that. Some kind of assault rifle type blaster to complement the RotoFury shotgun. I dunno, we’ll see what the future holds.
