Toy Fair New York: 02/14/2015 – 02/17/2015
The 112th annual North American International Toy Fair. It is the largest toy and youth product marketplace in the Western Hemisphere. It’s expected to bring together more than 1,000 exhibiting manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents. They will be on hand to showcase 150,000+ products to nearly 10,000 buyers representing 7,000+ unique outlets in 100 countries.
Toy Fair Revelations.
That’s right, folks! The Toy Fair has been going on in NYC for the past few days and ends today. Ever since the start of the weekend, there has been a toy mania, so to speak, going on at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in New York City. About 1,000 different companies were there showcasing their products for the new year. That’s great and all, but we only really care about Nerf, right? And they didn’t disappoint. A lot of exciting new information was provided for Nerf Products due to be released in the 2015 calendar year. New products were announced for every different line of blasters available from N-Strike Elite to Mega to Rebelle. Down below, I’ll lay all the links to my reports on the different products and my initial thoughts and reactions to each product.
NEW Nerf N-Strike Elite 2015.
New products for the Elite line of Nerf Blasters. Nerf has announced a few new blasters due to release this year. New blasters include the Crossbolt, the Thunderblast, the Snapfire, and the DoubleDown.
NEW Nerf MEGA 2015.
Not much was announced in the way of Mega blasters unfortunately. Most of the focus was on the highly anticipated Nerf Mega RotoFury blaster, which for all intents and purposes seems to be a Mega version of the Elite Rampage.
NEW Nerf Zombie Strike 2015.
We finally get to see the Doominator in all of it’s Zombie Slaying glory. Also, surprise! A new line of Zombie Strike hybrid Bio Squad blasters were revealed. Didn’t see that coming, did you?
NEW Nerf Rebelle 2015.
Nerf Rebelle, the successful line of Nerf blasters for girls, doesn’t plan to let up. Nerf announced a few new blasters with the Rebelle branding on them. Mostly crossbow designs, the Nerf Rebelle Arrow Revolution was the highlight of the product line for sure.
NEW Nerf Modulus 2015.
My most highly anticipated new Nerf gun for the year is definitely the Modulus. At the Toy Fair, they definitely showed off all of the attachments and the Modulus stripped down to its basic form. Click through to see my post about the Nerf Modulus now!
NEW Nerf Rivals 2015.
What is this? The shocker of the Toy Fair? A new line of blasters focused on teenagers? High powered, high precision blasters with new ammo? What?! Unbelievable.
That’s A Wrap!
And that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Even though I actually live in New York City, I wasn’t able to attend the Toy Fair convention this year. So this is more a collection of information revealed at the event more than a first hand account. Be that as it may, I always find that a good source of all info collected all in one place is almost equally as beneficial. Hopefully by next year, with your help, I’ll be able to attend the event myself. Here’s to next year! Take care, guys.
