Another new Nerf blaster has been revealed! Meet the M32 Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator Blaster! Now, if you read any of my posts on this site, you’ll know that occasionally I like to compare some of these Nerf blasters to real life weapons. Sometimes it’s a stretch. This blaster? This blaster right here? It looks almost exactly like the M32 Grenade Launcher. Anyway, so I believe the folks over at Nerdist were the first ones to break this story. And they wrote the perfect little article for it, complete with a Tom Hardy Inception reference and a matching gif. Kudos to them for that one. They weren’t afraid to dream a little bigger.
Meet the Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator Blaster:
The Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator. This blaster features 4 rotating cylinders with 6 chambers in each. That means this bad boy holds 24 darts. You’d be able to shoot for a while, sure. But what about the reload? This thing looks like it takes ages to reload. They really need a Nerf speed loader for their revolver blasters. See the little double finger trigger/lever underneath the main trigger? It looks like it serves to rotate the cylinders. That would fall in line with the recent Zombie Strike FlipFury. Judging by the picture, I’d say the foregrip handle primes this blaster. And the guys over at NerdDrop agree with me. This blaster isn’t technically a grenade launcher, as it shoots single darts. But that’s exactly what it looks like. Maybe if it shot all darts from a cylinder at once, but it doesn’t appear to do that. Whatever it is, though, it looks amazing. I love the look. A painted Pinpoint Sight would look perfect atop this blaster. I genuinely am looking forward to this. I can’t wait for the release.
The Doominator will be available at most major retailers and Amazon.com for an MSRP of $39.99 in the fall of 2015.
