New Nerf Guns Incoming

New Nerf guns are on the way, people! A bunch! The Rhino-Fire is out already and I didn’t even get a chance to pick it up.  I know we’re in the middle of the holiday shopping season, but try to save a little money if you can! There have been a few leaks, rumors, and reveals from Hasbro recently and I am very excited…

Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire

First up, the Rhino-Fire. Look at this thing. It looks like a turret. No, it is a freaking turret man. Looks like it could be a fully automated turret. It’s got automatic fire, at least. This thing is bananas. It takes a 25 dart drum on each side of this thing. The ammo is fed into this beast and then spit out through two oscillating barrels. It’s also an Elite XD model, if I’m not mistaken. So expect a volley of darts raining down upon you 90(ish) feet away. The Rhino is available NOW.

Nerf N-Strike Elite CrossBolt

Next up, we have another Nerf bow. The N-Strike Elite CrossBolt will be released some time in 2015. It is a clip-fed, bullpup crossbow blaster with “real bow action.” Of course real bow action means you’ll draw back the string to cock it. Nice! It’s also rated to cover 90 foot ranges. It looks pretty sharp, no? I think it will definitely be the new Nerf guns champ in the Nerf bow category. I can not wait to see.

Nerf Zombie Strike FlipFury

Zombies are coming! And they’re bringing new Nerf guns, too. This blaster is another entry in the Zombie Strike line of weaponry. The Nerf Zombie Strike FlipFury. I can’t believe this blaster will really be made. It is awesome! It looks like a double barrel Nerf Elite Strongarm. It’s pretty much something they have been making in the modding community for a while. They have double and triple barrel mods for the Strongarm and the Maverick. Nerf seems to be taking from the modding community in the same way Apple takes from their jailbreak community. I love it!

Nerf N-Strike Elite SharpFire

Next, we have the Nerf NES Zapper. Whoops, I mean the Nerf SharpFire. My apologies. This blaster just looks so much like the old Nintendo light gun. The SharpFire resembles a regular handgun. Like maybe a Glock with a Luger barrel. It also appears to be a breech-loading weapon. That should prove to be interesting. This gun is just so odd, though. I don’t quite know what to make of it. However, if it is some quick-draw sharpshooter type of blaster, I could probably be down with that.

Nerf N-Strike Elite SlingStrike

One of the other new Nerf guns is not a gun at all. The Nerf Slingstrike (not SlingFire) is basically just a Nerf slingshot. It looks pretty cool and I know it’s safer than a regular slingshot. You can’t load rocks or anything crazy in here, just darts. This is good for younger kids or anyone still enamored of slingshots. I think it would be a good substitute for a parent that didn’t want their child to play with any kind of toy resembling a gun. So it has its place, most definitely.

Nerf Mega CycloneShock

I’m really excited for this next one. It’s called the Nerf Mega Cyclone and it looks like a really solid blaster. It seems to be a Mega version of the Nerf Strongarm. I like the Strongarm, but I thought it was too long and thin. Pause. I liked the shorter stocky Maverick better. This new Mega Cyclone looks to be the perfect size. The design seems so sleek and professional. I want it now.

Nerf Mega BigShock

The next blaster is the Nerf Mega BigShock. With the Triad EX3 and this gun, it really makes me want to say R.I.P. to the Jolt. This thing makes the Jolt look so puny. The BigShock is still compact, but it is just so much beefier. I think the Mega series is really going to take off with these new Nerf guns in the lineup.

OMG OMG OMG OMGWTFBBQ!!!!1!1 Yes, I saved the best for last. Just look at this thing, in all its blurry, top-secret, goodness. This is a leaked image from an overseas ad. Nerf isn’t ready to reveal this as of yet. But Oh MY Goodness does that look sexy. It seems to be a Mega version of the Nerf Rampage. This will more than likely be my favorite of the new Nerf guns.
